Allegheny County taxes are mailed in February
East McKeesport Borough bills are sent out April 1st
East Allegheny School District tax bills arrive in July

If you or your Mortgage Company do not receive a bill during these periods, please contact this office. Not receiving a bill does not relieve you of the responsibility of paying your taxes.

All these Real Estate Taxes listed above offer a Discount period of 2% of Face amount if paid within the first two months of issue. If not paid within that period, the Borough and School District Face amount will then be due. If not received during the two month Face period, your taxes are late and a 10% charge will be added. By law, after December 31st, this office is required to send unpaid Borough and School District taxes to delinquent collections. The current delinqent collection agency is Keystone Municipal Collections, click here to read more.

The County and Borough also offer a "Senior Citizen Tax Relief Program". There is also a Homestead/Farmstead Exclusion for the County and School Taxes. Since these Programs are offered by the County, and the Borough and School taxes are based on County Assessments, they must be applied for through the County.
